What a lovely brooch! This elegant etched cameo, in a faceted glass oval design, is beautifully framed by an intricate, ornate, brass leaf design. The glass is raised and held by four large prongs which are on either side and cannot be seen from the front. On the back, It has a roll-over clasp and an open bale, that will fit a thin chain, so it can be worn as a pendant. Measuring 2 1/4" in both length and width, it comes in excellent condition. If you are partial to cameos, you'll love this one, I'm sure. Please note: This photo of the brooch was taken on a blue background. Whatever color is worn under the cameo will be the one that shows through the glass.
