- Earrings - Dramatic art deco faux turquoise earrings. Signed ART DECO

This dramatic pair of clip earrings was produced in limited editions in the 1980's by a fine company called ART DECO. Reproducing the finest art deco pieces, this company described these earrings as representative of "the geometric motifs of AZTEC and Mayan art as well as the complex, semi-abstract composition of the Inca culture that were readily integrated into the Art Deco style." This design was derived from an original "lipstick" case by Cartier, now in the Souillac Collection. They are fashioned in a geometric combination of rich turquoise and deep cobalt blue enamel featuring inlaid pave rhinestones, black enamel detailing and a lustrous creamy pearl on either end of the elongated design. They measure 2" in length, 1/2" across and come in mint condition. If you love unique pieces in jewelry then you've found a prize in these. I guarantee you'll have friends, even strangers, asking, "Where did you get those earrings??!!" Finished in a beautiful gold tone and signed ART DECO, this dramatic pair of earrings will be one to treasure and keep!
