I have seen many CORO duettes, however I've never seen a duette quite like this one. Glowing pastel moonstone cabochons of yellow, pink and milky white make up the two dress clips that comprise this yummy CORO duette brooch. Round, clear rhinestone accents sit between each beautiful, well pronged cabochon flower that's, in turn, set in a pave leaf design. The pave stones subtly twinkle in the light, graciously granting the pastel stones center stage. The brooch measures almost 4" across and almost 2" from top to bottom. The back is signed CORO DUETTE (in script) with the PAT NO 1798867 inscribed on the main mechanism. In addition, the numbers "258" and the letter "H" appear to be hand-incised. This is an early piece dating to the 30's-40's. As with all duettes, the two dress clips may be removed to be worn separately. This delicious duette is in excellent vintage condition. An oldie, but goodie!! This item is available on a Layaway option to fit your schedule.
